Dr. Guo uses both endovascular and open vascular techniques to achieve the best outcome possible for his patients. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery for both Vascular Surgery and General Surgery.
Dr. Guo has spent time on both coasts. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania with Magna cum Laude distinction, and graduated Alpha Omega Alpha (top 10% of class) from the New York University School of Medicine in 1997. He then trained extensively at UCLA School of Medicine, completing his internship, General Surgery residency, as well as a research fellowship in Molecular Endocrinology. Subsequently, he completed a clinical and research fellowship in Vascular Surgery also at UCLA School of Medicine in 2006. In addition to his medical interests he is an avid amateur violinist, playing on his Gagliano violin made in the year 1770. He also is fluent in Mandarin and Fukinese.
