Dr. Kuo completed his undergraduate training in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley, followed by his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He then accomplished his Integrated Vascular Surgery Residency at the Los Angeles County + University of Southern California Medical Center. During his time at LAC+USC, he completed a one year research fellowship at the Keck Medical Center of USC Aortic Center, where he published numerous peer-reviewed papers, a book chapter, and presented at local and national meetings, with a focus on aortic pathology, specifically aortic dissections and aneurysms.
He is trained in the newest and minimally invasive endovascular surgical treatments, such as Fenestrated Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (FEVAR) and TransCarotid Artery Revascularization (TCAR).
